About Little Vines

Previously known as Dendron, Little Vines has been welcoming guests for over 40 years. In 2023, new owners Lucy and James lovingly restored the cottages and gardens, bringing a fresh energy while honouring the warm, welcoming spirit of this retreat.

Each cottage is thoughtfully designed and named: Peacock Cottage, Owl Cottage, and Sunbird Cottage.

Lucy’s place was a home away from home. Absolutely amazing – location was breathtaking and walking onto the Groot Constantia wine farm was so special. It’s a great spot for kids, with a jungle gym and pool.
Lucy was quick to respond and really helpful with advice and requests.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Owl Cottage with access to relax by the pool. The accommodation was equipped with everything you need. The location is a short drive away to Constantia Shopping Mall. The area has lovely wineries and restaurants. Lucy & James were on hand to assist with any questions.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It is clean, well located and has beautiful views from the shared swimming pool area.
Lucy and James were always responsive and very helpful.
One word of warning…..if you are using SatNav to get there, take the Price Drive route. Ours directed us to Blue Valley which ends up going down a dirt track and leads to a dead end.

We had a wonderful time at Lucy and James’ cottage. The place was very casy and beautifully decorated. The adjacent vinyard is great for walks and enjoying the nature of Constantia.

We absolutely loved our stay in Owl Cottage which had everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated and in stunning surroundings. The hosts Lucy and James were so attentive and friendly and so was Juliet. We will be back for sure! Thanks for an amazing stay.

Very nice and clean apartment in a beautiful residence with a very nice pool, garden and access to activities for kids.
The area is astonishing with a direct access to the vineyards, view in the mountain, the City, the ocean and a few minutes drive to all commodities

Lucy and James are lovely hosts, the location was amazing, we walked through the gate at the bottom of their garden in to the vineyard and had a great evening at Simon’s Restaurant in Groot Estate with a 5 minute walk back through the vineyard at night. Perfect

The little owl cottage was beautifully placed in an affluent residential area which felt safe and perfect for families. We could explore all Cape-towns delights within 30mins and return back to the the pool and gardens afterwards for a relax. I’d definitely recommend this place 👍
